I got a quote from a local dealer on a 3038E with the loader for $25899 plus Gst. 60 months 0% any one know if this is the going rate in Canada they wont negotiate one cent on price.

In other provinces, 10% - 12% - 15% off MSRP is probably a reasonable expectation. The E machines tend to be a "value product" so maybe the margins are a bit lower. Go to deere.ca and do a build your own if the store did not give you MSRP pricing.

After doing the build your own the price for the build your own was $1500 cheaper than what the dealer quoted me.

freight and dealer prep is not added into the build your own, so it sounds like your dealer is pretty much full retail. Maybe that's par for the course in Canada?

Not really. I always check Build Your Own and have no problems getting 12% - 15% off MSRP and no PDI etc. Alberta is like some of the New England states - in its own universe as regards pricing. Seems to apply to lots of things - not just JD prices. The OP needs to shop around - probably out of province.
