Can you put a fuel heater wrap on the fuel bowl without risk of melting it?

I bought a Wolverine Fuel Filter heater for my Kioti DK35 2003
It wraps around filters and the like to pre-heat the fuel and prevent gelling when it's very cold.
Is there any risk that it might melt the clear plastic fuel filter "debris" bowl?

In my opinion the wrap would damage the bowl. The heaters are made to be against steel that takes away more of the heat faster, the plastic would just insulate it and cause it to overheat. The bowls do not have a good track record and are prone to cracking just by themselves. If you use a good winterized fuel you will never have a problem. I have 5 diesel vehicles and tractors and none have heated fuel systems and we get down to -20 never a problem with gelling. I just make sure that I am using up my fuel in fall and will use an additive in the margin months to make sure my fuel wont gel.

Thank you for the input. Yes, in Maine you get really cold. We moved from New Hampshire to Colorado.

What additive do you use in the winter?
Is there an improved bowl in the after market?
I would have to get much more organized to use only winter diesel in winter, but it's certainly possible. Instead I put an additive in.
I have the wrap. I've read someone recommending using it to warm up the engine, hydraulics, etc. I will avoid the vulnerable fuel filter on this tractor however, based upon input.

I bought several. Ratings are either 50 watts or 100 watts. I have both ratings. And I have one plug into 120 v and the others are all 12 v.

I've used Power Service (white bottle), for more than 40 years. I use it year round (every time I add fuel), for it's cleaning, and lubricating properties.... then to prevent winter jelling also. Follow directions on the bottle.
