Hi, I am considering buying a NX6010 for use in my vineyard. The Kioti specs show 65.7 inches for width. I'd like to keep my maximum outside width (rear tires) as close to 60-64 inches as possible due to my row widths. For those of you with the NX series what options do you feel I have to narrow the width closer to 60-64 inches? Change tires & reduce the width, dish the wheel out? other. Any input would be appreciated.
TIA
John

With R1 Ag tires you should be able to keep the wheels in the range you want. The actual width of the tractor will still be around the 65" mark. My 48 Hp Branson is about 54" with the R1 Ag tires. My 25 Hp Kioti has the R1 Ag tires set out closer to 60".

R4 Industrial tires usually have less adjustments and set wider than R1. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, that 65.7" width specification is already with the AG tires mounted on. The R4 Industrial and Turf tires all will be increasing the width of your tractor. There are special tires even more narrow than AG. That's what you would need, and they are made only for row cropping tractors and orchards and grape vineyards. You would need special rims.

So what does Ag Tire tread Minimum mean? See photo below.

The AG minimum measurements are the inside width of your AG tires. Just like if you crawled underneath your tractor with a tape measure, and measured from tire to tire. The 65.7" width for AG tire, is the outside width, or maximum width.

Here is an example of a narrow tractor tire.

Thanks for your response. My understanding of tread width is measurement from center of tires. So if you add the width of 1 tire that gives approximate total width not allowing for some sidewall bulge. I am wondering about a 12.4x24 or 11.2x24
tractor tires? Not sure if cost to swap them out is worth the 1-2&1/2 inch narrowing effect.

Thanks again.
