3-Point Hitch Can someone tell me the inside dimension of a HF QH Quick HItch???

Can someone please verify the inside width of the HF QH? (inside pin to pin). I.E. minimum distance inside.

I know the add says 27 3/16th but I am not sure if that is the inside distance counting the pins that go through the lift arms or just the inside width of the unit itself.

I have a ballast box and it will be a tight fit and I need to know before I buy. They don't carry the QH in stores near me.

HF QHs are known to vary in dimensions. However you can make it wider with a hydraulic jack.

Now THATS funny!

I am making a ballast out of concrete. I have a concrete saw if I need t trim it here and there. I know the HF is not high quality, but I think based on what I read, I can make it work. They were $99 on line and with a $20 coupon, I could not pass it up for $79.....

P.S. I got my JD 3203 and man I love it!!!! I know it is the "plain Jane" of the 3 sized series which is fine with me. Perfect for what I need....but I am getting O.T. so I better quit.
