Can my DK50 hst handle NH 479 9ft haybine?

Hey all well I got my NH 68 baler and it works great for 600. Now I need a haybine. Looking into a New Holland 479 for $900. Its a 9ft cut do you all think I can run and handdle it? Also hav a NH 467 which is a 7ft cut. that mayb available for $600 but a 2hr drive. Thr 9ft is 15 mins away. Im prety sure it will run it just not sure,weight wise. Thanks everyone

Absolutely! We use to run one on a 1939 Farmall H with a narrow front end.

I easily ran mine on a 22 hp yanmar. I use loader hydraulics for header lift and tongue swing. There is some sizable hitch weight, though. Add some front weight to maintain steering.

We run that same model behind a Kubota L3830 with loaded rear tires. It could use some more weight in the front at times (no loader or front weights), but it runs it without any problems, so your DK50 should handle it just fine.
Edit: On second thought, I think our is a 461 not a 479 (looks like: http://www.messicks.com/used/5561.aspx)

Can you post pictures of how yours does tongue swing? I would like to add that to ours at some point.
