Absolutely it can be modified for 3pt mounting.
The better question is HOW PRUDENT IS IT TO DO THAT?
A BH puts tons (literally) of stress on the rear of the tractor. The sub frame mounts disperse that stress over a larger area than a 3pt is capable of doing.
