Can't Change Gear Range

I have a Kubota 3410 that has a hydrostatic transmission. It currently is is mid range and I can't switch to high or low. It appears to be locked. Anyone else have this problem or a fix?

Hello and welcome to TBN

I see you may have tried to change / edit your post possibly to change the title to say "Can't Change Gear Range" and you may have not been able to.

In order to change a title, just hit the EDIT button and under the edit window click on "GO ADVANCED" and it will let you change the title.

Have you tried slightly stepping on the brake or forward/reverse pedals??? That normally works on the BX.

I did try going back and forth. Also tried engaging and disengaging 4wd and differential lock....no luck.

Some have reported jammed linkage, I would check this when all the others fail.

It does sound like a jammed linkage. Have you looked for physical obstructions? Get under the machine and with a strong light look for anything that may be blocking motion. Stick, rat nest, wood block, etc. Then look for signs that the linkage is bent.

Hopefully, that is it. If not, you may need to crawl inside the machine to find the issue and correct it. (think splitting it and stripping out the differential case).
