Calling all B1700/B2400 owners!

I'm looking at buying some side link hydraulic cylinders on eBay that are from a B1700/2400. I'm thinking I could use them for a double top'n'tilt on my BX22, but the clevis is welded at 90 degrees to the lower link receiver, while on my BX, the rotation is more like 45 degrees. What do the side links on the 3 pt. hitches look like on your B1700/2400's? Help! The auction ends tomorrow. Thanks so much.

It looks to me like they would indeed fit a B2400. I suspect the auction items they are "home made". I say this because the clevis arms appear much thicker than the OEM clevis arms.

The 90 degrees part has me a little confused. As the photo shows, the axis of the long clevis is 90 degrees different from the short clevis end. My confusion comes because of my experience with hydraulic cylinders; most cylinder rods rotate, thus making the 90 degree question a non-issue.

Now if these cylinders don't rotate, then they won't go on any B2400 I know of. And I'd wager that they wounldn't fit on ANY B type tractor that had OEM lift arms.

If you're really interested in these, then my recommendation is to contact the seller.

Thanks for the replies, Pete. Ironically, I answered my own question by searching "B2400" on TBN and come up with your user profile. I then checked your website and looked at the B2400 pics and realized your side link arms are very similar to mine on my BX22. TBN never ceases to amaze by the wealth of useful info available here. One more "Attaboy!!!" to TBN and its membership. Oh yeah, I won the auction. Hooray for me.
