Syrup season is almost here. looking forward to getting out. It has been a very long cold (and not much snow to play with) winter. hoping the temp's here in michigan start coperating in the next few weeks.
Ya never know what we'll get here in Fabruary. Might be 70 during the day and get a foot of snow that same night. Remember the April 4th storm we got around 81 or 82?
I'm sure ready for some warmer weather but after last year's dry summer, I'd like to see a bit more snow before winter is over.
Dug up my garden last week. Plan to plant onions this weekend and get ready to start planting everything else in the next few weeks. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Of course, we have to do it pretty early here because it all burns up by mid July. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
yeah ... it would be nice if the weather would cooperate ... either way .... enough snow for me to take the sled out or enough warmth to take the bike out ... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
of course, if I had actual trees at my place, I might look forward to syruping too .... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
