Have same ghost tractor problem ( turns itself on and runs just when it wants to. Has melted starter wire, drained battery) as noted with a couple of posts here. Replacing starter and starter solenoid but someone suggested replacing fuel shutoff solenoid as the tractor keeps running even in key off position. Their thinking was the contacts may have welded themselves (which did happen w starter solenoid) to where the plunger doesn't work to kill engine Where IS the fuel shutoff solenoid on this beast? Im hopeless w electrical so my ask is so that IF I ever get mechanic here I will have all parts he may need …
