Sorry guys, I'm bailing on y'all Sealed the deal last week on a new Kubota details in the Kubota forum here

I in addition to more HP, I wanted a backhoe & also a MMM - no deal on the NH (subframe not compatible with MMM).

I'll still hang around a bit - got to keep up with Dad's TC40DA.

Anybody wanna buy a TC18?

That's okay Steve...we'll still enjoy talking with you no matter what color you got on. :D

Congratulations on your purchase! That's quite a setup you're getting. It'll be interesting to hear your first hand impressions on any Blue/Orange comparisons (of course we also realize it's not really an apples to apples either). I guess it's more like comparing little blueberries to bigger ORANGES. :p

You'll really enjoy your Woods BH. I absolutely love mine. I know what you mean about the Woods subframe tradeoffs.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Enjoy. We'll be looking for those pics when you can post them.

Congratulations Hazmat. That's quite a purchase. I am curious as what a "floating" remote is. I've never heard of that. Does that mean it has a float detent?

You'll have plenty of help over in the Kubota forum. Be sure to let us know when it arrives so we can go look at the pictures. I'm sure you'll take some pictures of the TC18 next to it. Hey, you could keep the TC18 and have "dual citizenship" like Bob Skurka.;)

The floating remote has a float detent similar to our FEL valves. It was $50 more than the regular section. I figured it may come in handy some day, so I'd try it out...

"Dual Citizenship" would probably get me kicked out of the house. Don't get me wrong - I won't be too upset if it takes a while to sell the old machine - It would be real nice to have 2.

i hope you never want to go to R4's ..... i was told that R4's and a 72" MMM were incompatable. (a deal breaker for me)

No R4s in my future - I've got both for my TC18 & for my uses, the turfs are the better choice. I only use the R4s on my TC18 when I have a "big" loader project because they are loaded & the turfs aren't.

Well, you can always paint it blue, then you can come back.

Would he call that a "Newbota" or a "Kuholland"?;)

Hey, big news Steve! Congrats. Of course, ANY new tractor is exciting, regardless the color. Can't wait to see pics.

Well - New Bota obscures the New Holland liniage - It would have to be Kuholland.

I'm real excited about the new machine. I called the salesman today. They've started the setup on it, but don't have all the goodies in yet. He's going to give me a better status tomorrow.
