Well I guess that I am slowly converting over to the Blue Team? My Kubota B2910 will be living down the block at the neighbors house from now on. It has served me well. But last year I bought a TC24D and find that I can do pretty much everything that I need to do with the smaller tractor. . . albeit in very slightly smaller bites. And I find it easier to mow with the TC24D because the turning radius is tighter. I think the main reason is that I am pretty much done with big construction projects and what I have left can easily be done with the smaller machine.

The neighbor & I shared the Kubota all along as well as implements, but now I am officially giving up on the machine completely. I even stopped at the NH dealer on Sunday (while they were closed) and looked at a new TC33DA just for fun. Nice machine. I even looked at the new TC24DA and noticed there is a cigarette lighter type power outlet under the drivers seat (I just added one of those to the rear of my TC24D a month ago). I like the new switch positions on the dash, and the light switch configuration allowing regular & bright lights.

I always consider myself to be color blind when looking at equipment and I try to be as objective as I can, but I have to admit to the fact that I am becoming very partial to BLUE .

There has been a New Holland price drop recently, they are now actually some what price competitive as well.

When I bought the Kubota B2910 several years ago, it was cheaper than the New Hollands.

Last year I went to buy another Kubota (looked at the 2410 and the 7500). I wanted more power than the 7500, and the 2410 was about $1000 more than a NH TC24D. From what I can tell, the 2410 and the TC24 are very competitive feature for feature. The Kubota dealer & I have a long term (10 year) first name relationship, but they would not budge on the price. I bought the TC24 and love it. I've since bought a White rider and a Cub ZTR from the Kubota dealer as gifts for a couple of my employees, but I really like the little New Holland and think it was the right choice.

Now that the Kubota is gone, does this mean there's room in the garage for a new antique to bring home? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Will we soon be seeing photos of an old Oliver in its place?
