Recently began cutting trail above house. Apologize for low resolution. Pictures taken with my video camera.

I have a BX25 now. I also have hillside property and I to wanted some trails across the face of mine. I've had my tractors starting leaning enough times that I have tried to avoid it from now on.:) I decided to have Roy Vice come with his track loader and drive back and forth and make my trails for me. In fact he is supposed to come back tomorrow and do another one for me. Will be safe for me and him with his track loader and will take him safely an hour or two to do what would take me a scary week and for $120 per hour for him to do it.
I applaud your work and beautiful property and know what those tractors are capable of doing. Just be careful and live to enjoy your beautiful property and BX.
I had my BX at one point of off balance that I slowly turned, very slowly, in my seat and lowered the BH leg on the down hill side to keep the tractor from rolling down the hill and swung the BH bucket around and pulled my back end around to solid ground. I was doing a lot of praying at the time and have tried to pay a bit more attention to what I'm doing since then.

Sweet! How are you addressing drainage, ditching and piping where needed?

Wow,

That is a huge amount of work you are doing with that little machine. I hope the soil is easy digging. How many hours do you have into the job so far?

I have a trail turned road through the woods going down about 1/2 the length of the pasture starting across from my equipment building along the edge of our property. With all the twists and turns through the woods, it is about 600 Ft. I get a good deal on quarry tailings and have spread two tri-axle loads of this grarvel on over the orignal earthen trail. It packs very well and is so much nicer of a ride in the RTV now. The "road" tends to erode much less from rain runoff also. I used the same material on the horse path from the pasture to the barn and as a topcoat on my 1/4 mile driveway.
