BX__60 parts for BX2350

Searched but could not find the answers so here goes:

Will the 2660 seat fit the 2350? I like the toolbox.

Is there any way to get the __60 hydraulics to work the same way on the 2350. Reason for this is when using the rotary broom thatching the lawn sometimes it will rip up the turf and bog down and with the low RPM's the broom will not lift up or the tractor stalls. This is the important feature I would like most.

As far as the broom, I have already drilled new holes for the height setting. But if it catches and lifts up the turf dirt flies.

When I bought my BX, I asked the dealer if the BX2660 seat would fit the BX1860 and after some checking he said yes, but it would cost me another $800 plus some hardware, so I said no thanks given the cost. It you are really into the BX2660 seat, I'd check out this delux seat from Michagan Seat for a lot less. I understand it's used on the the JD special edition X7xx series and some zero turn mowers. It looks pretty similar to the BX2660 seat. Since Northerntool does not give bolt pattern information, you'd have to call to get that info to compare to your 2350 seat. There are several favorable reviews here on TBN if you do a search. I don't see a toolbox for it though.

As far as getting the hydraulics to move at idle, as far as I know, you can't make that modification to the 2350 without cracking the transaxle but maybe others more up on the hydraulic pressure differences know for sure.

Edit: Are you referring to the BX2660 seat or the B2620 seat - not sure after re-reading.

Also, BXpanded.com offers a seat back pouch that can be used for tool storage too. Forgot about that option.

Thanks for getting back to me. Never heard of that seat but will look into it.

Hopefully, someone can answer the question about the hydraulics.

I emailed Kubota about the transmission and was told there is no fix for it.

I wouldn't get too excited about the "tool box". It's called a glove box, and that is just about all you'll put in there. It is very limited in depth. A good thick pair of leather gloves will provide a challenge closing the door without warping it... it's plastic and only is locked shut by one hasp. If it were a $100 upgrade, it wouldn't be worth it IMO.
