BX2751 quick hitch. Anyone know how its installed??

HI,

I just picked up a BX2750D blower that came with a quick hitch. I got the operators manuel for the blower but nothing for the hitch. Anyone have a set of installations instructions for the hitch. I would like to make sure its right before I break something?? I did a search but turned up nothing but a couple of dead links. Thanks everyone.

Here are some more. It is quite simple and intuitive. Although, it isn't the greatest engineered system in the world, frankly. But it works.

Thank you BP. Those pics are exactly what I needed. I suspected thats how it went but wasn't sure. And actualy the 2 wedges aren't were I would have thought but the pics make it easy to figure out. I will install it later this week. I will let you know if I need anything else.

There are two ways to put those wedges. I do NOT have mine properly kosher, according to the manual. Just so you know.

They show them in the manual with the incline catching the top of your front steel bumper by wedging friction. I just did not like that method at all.

You see how I have mine. It works very well for me and I am very careful when installing them. If you have any issues, revert to the way you are "supposed" to install them.

There are a couple of other possibilities in installing those wedges and they would be just wrong, wrong. Your hitch would slop and not be tight. Your hitch plate should smack on to the steel of the front bumper. Square. If you don't have that square face to face feeling, then start over.

AMG it was from craigslist. Should I be worried?? Seems Ok like it said in the ad "never been used" and it does look like it. Not bad deal has the hydraulic rotation and I got it for 2700.00

No you shouldn't be worried. I was talking to the seller and was going to probably buy it if you hadnt! haha. Good price!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who assisted me with the setup. Installed it yesterday afternoon and all went well. Eventually I will take some pics and post just for fun. No I need some snow to play with it.
