bx2660 wont shut off

i have a new 2660 les than two hrs on it. used the tractor went to shut it off and it wont kill. I have checked all fuses they are ok. Also when there is no operator in the seat you can still engage the mid-mount mower and move the tractor with the hydrostat. any help thanks

push the fuel solenoid in in engine compartment, it will shut off.

i know that but what would cause it to not shut down the pump, not real handy to pull the shut off lever to shut it off everytime

Check fuses again either key stop relay is not getting power or stop solenoid is not working.

Not too long ago there was a thread titled, "SAFETY!!! Couldn't turn tractor Off! Anyone experience this?" It is located in the Kubota Owning/Operating forum. Do a search for "SAFETY!!!" in the Kubota Owning/Operating forum and you will find lots of discussion. It was very helpful in understanding how our systems work.

Had the same thing happen to mine shortly after getting it home. On mine there is an electrical line that is plugged together that runs across the top of the engine, I'm not at home so I can't send a picture. This had come unplugged from itself. My father in-law noticed that the two wires were'nt together and that was the problem.
