A Quick Hitch for $80 from HF extends your 3ph backward about 4". This extra space lets you use light duty full CAT 1 sized implements more readily on the BXs.

thats good info on the q/a..just curious do you have that setup?

Yes, - - it will let me use a 7' sickle bar to cut around the lake. The mower sets too close to the tractor otherwise. Unfortunately the QA doesnt work well if you need to tilt the implement to the side. It stays on the BX1500 with a drawbar in it mostly. I do a lot of towing but not a lot of 3pt implement work with the BX.

I have a BX24 and am looking at the Landpride PD15 for it, do you think there would be any problem using a 12" auger bit.

I know I'm sure I could put a 12" on mine and run it as deep as I could. Plenty of power.
