BX24 won't shut off

Came out one morning and heard the fuel pump on the tractor ticking away even with the key switch off. When I tried to start the tractor,battery was almost dead. Started the tractor with a boost ,ran for awhile then could not shut off the tractor. Had to engage the PTO with empty seat to shut off the tractor. Called service dept and was told to check key switch. Sure enough,when I took the switch apart,there was water and corrosion inside. Dried out,sandpapered contacts,reconnected switch and tractor was good as new. Just a heads up if this happens to you.
