I was reversing the seat on my BX24 today and at some point I noticed the lever that is lifted to release the seat had come off and there were three parts on the tractor deck: a spring with a couple of tangs on either side, a washer, and what looks to be a curly cue pin that probably goes through through one of the mounting pins on the tractor seat. I tried to sort out how to put this back together for awhile and gave up. I looked in the manual and there is not enough detail in the drawings to show me if I have all the parts that came off and if I do how they go back on. Does anyone have an image of the seat lever that will help me with how to put these parts back on so the lever is once again spring loaded? Thanks
JR

Here is what my BX25 looks like.

My problem is I found one of those clips in the street after my dealer dropped off my new tractor, and I have to figure out where it came from.

Jeff -that clip looks like it belongs underneath the tractor on the dampener for the HST tredle. There are two clips , one on each end.

Hello Radioman

I just went through the parts list for all of the "RUE RING COTTER" clips as they are called, and went over the tractor and accounted for all of them as best as I can tell.

Hopefully when my dealer delivered my tractor, this slid off of his flat bed left over from another tractor.

I count the following in the parts list used in the areas listed, and have accounted for them.

4 - speed control pedal ( 1- K1211-91130, 3- K1211-91120 )
1 - differential lock pedal ( K1211-91120 )
1 - brake pedal ( K1211-91130 )
1 - mower link RH ( K1211-91110 )
1 - mower link LH ( K1211-91110 )
1 - link rear lift LH ( K1211-91140 )
3 - seat support ( K1211-91130 )

Did I miss any?

Thanks
Jeff

I think this is what you're after. I just happened to have the tractor right outside...

Thanks to everyone for the images and replies. I have been swamped and have not had a chance to try to put the seat back together ... I have a replacement seat for my Bx24 ---, but these images will help.
Thanks
JR
