I was out yest moving some snow down the street when all of a suddon the machine started to loose power and died. Eventually i got a tow home and began the diagnosis. I had no dash lights no gagues and the fuel pump was dead; i had the emerg. flashers thats it. Wherever the short was it was a solid dead short every time i put in a fuse an immediate Pop. I have added a horn and 3 55w flood lights. The horn and extra lights used relays and were installed with no shortcuts. I began to peel back all the hard work i did looking for a gremlin, over an hour in to it i had nothing. Long story short in desperation I began to disconect all the factory lights trying to isolate some kind of short. When i disconnected the two headlights and put in a new fuse Viola i had lights and a fuel pump again.

The problem was that me being "smart" I replaced the factory headlights with low current hi power led modules. They worked great till the other day, I dont know if anybody else out there has done something like this or if anybody out there has added lighting or other accessories to the headlight circuit but if you have be ware. I have since replaced the headlamps with the correct type of bulb. I hope this may help somebody from the same trouble.
