Hello!
I am looking to pick up a used BX2370 locally. It was well maintained, low hour. It has say for a while. Runs, drives perfect.
I will do a full service on it ASAP.
Only flaw I found was that the FEL would not lift the front tires off the ground. They would lift slightly.
I am used to my old B series that would lift the wheels off the ground a foot at idle.
Any ideas? Low pressure? Low fluid (was low on the tip stick but clean).
Thanks for the help!

this won’t answer your question directly , but i think the only way the fel on my mf1540 will raise the front end is by curling the bucket once it’s flat on the ground.

There's an indent in the control lever while operating the boom lowering, and also for the bucket down curl. Make sure the boom lowering (lever forward) hasn't engaged the indent and locked in "float" mode. And the bucket down curl has a stop/indent too.
And there's only about 5" deep the bucket can be pushed down from ground level. Soft or uneven ground can leave the bucket not contacting when fully lowered.
Also try lowering the boom all the way then down curling the bucket. That should lift the front up too!

My BX2360 won't lift the front either at idle, the rpm's must be up higher'

Thanks for the help. I had the RPMS cranked up when I tried. Maybe I was hitting the detent for the float.
I didn’t want to tear up their yard testing it out.
Been sitting a while so I will give it a good going over and test the hydro pressure.

If your bx won't lift at idle, does the engine drop rpm when you try? And/or the hydraulics bypass valve kick in? As your machine differs from my B2650, it may be normal behavior to need an rpm bump to carry a substantial load, but mine behaves differently. Lifting the front end off the ground at idle proceeds without hesitation but slower and the engine grunts a bit more than usual. This is using the bucket curled up so the lift is near the pins, and bucket fully dumped so lifting off the bucket scraping edge, raising front much higher.
If yours is not pushing the loader arms down, or setting off the bypass, or audibly working the engine when you try, something seems nit working to me. Or more likely, the system is different enough from nine that its normal behavior.

The bucket needs to be curled down to lift the front end using the cutting edge on the ground. My BX is the same system. If that does not work you are bypassing fluid either in the cylinders or the valves.

It was operator error. I was trying to not damage the lawn of the people I was buying it from. Got it home and can lift the front end off the ground without an issue.
Thanks for the help.
