The mmm extension of the LH 3ph lift arm cracked on my 09 bx2360.
To make room to replace it, do I need to disassemble the frame and fuel tank etc that is in the way, or can I slide the hydraulic arm shaft over?
Is this a big, or not so bad, job?

Don't know if this helps, Mule. Tried to get a pic of what's going on in that area. In a shop manual for my B3030 found this pic. Looks like the arms are part of a whole unit. Hope this helps.

Just lifting the mid-mount mower deck to lock it up. It should not have happened. I'm bummed that it is a year out of warranty.
Thanks for the pic. Here is the parts blowup from kubota.
The arm would come off the shaft, but there is not enough room to remove it. I'm wondering if the hydraulic arm shaft just floats, and if I could drive it a few inches to the left to make clearance, replace the lift arm, and then recenter the shaft. Or would I ruin seals and internal stuff trying to do that.

Been watching this topic. I now see what your talking about, looking at the diagram it looks like you should be able to move it an inch to the side without the shaft disengaging part #20 but I would be concerned about damaging the o-rings as well, but then you may want to change both those o-rings while your messing with it as they look to be the only seals on the shaft.

Thanks for the comments. I'll try nudging the hydraulic arm shaft gently and see if it feels like it is free to move a bit. I'll report back, but it wil be a few days before I have a chance to get to this.

Thanks for the link willi67. I think I'm having those same issues.

The lift arm replacement was easy. There is -just barely- room to remove the lift-arm without shifting the arm-shaft.
When replacing the new lift-arm I discovered that the arm-shaft does float freely. I had to clamp it in place to slide on the new lift-arm.

Good to hear you got it fixed! Thanks for the update, I hate it when we never hear if something was fixed!
