Took the tractor out and warmed it up driving it about a mile. Backed it into the garage and sat idling for about 1/2 minute and shut it off. Looked under back and had a puddle 3" wide and 6" long. Maybe an ounce of oil. Had this happen before. Appears to be coming out the pressure relief or vent hole. Red button up high and under the top attachment piece. It dripped backing up the drive and into the garage. Checked oil and is half down on dipstick when warm. Same place has been since first time I ever checked. Got tractor last October new and has about 15 hours or so. Not a major problem I guess, but has anyone else had this puking problem? Thanks Harry

This is just a thought, and maybe you've taken this into consideration. Did you check the hyd. oil level with the 3PH and the bucket lowered to the ground? If the level was okay with the attachments raised, it could possibly be a little too full with them down, and it might come out the breather.

Ok I'll ask an obvious question....did you top of the fluid recently? My dealer said have way between the low and the high mark on the dipstick is the correct level . If what jimainiac is saying is the case and the fluid was topped off to the high level mark then I could see it blowing out the vent.

I had a similar issue on my plow....I inadvertently overfilled the resevoir and the first time I used the plow it blew hydrolic fluid all over the place...I freaked out at first..then realized what I had done...the system equalized itself but I went ahead and drained and refilled the tank anyway.

I guess I would keep a close watch on the the levels and see if it continues to happen....maybe a call to the dealer is in order as well.. The unit is still under warranty so you should be ok if there is a problem.

Good Luck

To be on the safe side, check that the fan blades are still intact on the transaxle cooling fan. If they are missing it could get too hot and overflow.

Thanks for the ideas guys, but have checked or done all of them and not the problem. Trans fluid when warm to hot is in middle of dipstick hatch area. When cold, is down at bottom of hatch area. So don't think overfull. Seems to be worse when backing up. Used it a little while today and didn't drip, but was wet going down back of trans. Drips off bottom of PTO cover, but I don't think it is leaking there. At top where vent is, is about a 1/4 in high red button and that is on top of a black piece that sticks up about another 1/4 inch abover grey cover. Both together are about 1/2 above grey cover. That about right for anyone elses BX2350? hjt

I had a similar issue, although multiple times. Got the tractor delivered, ran for about 3 hours, went out next day and had a small puddle. Checked fluids, all seemed ok, so I started it up and had some fluid spraying around. Sent it back to the dealer and they claimed some connections weren't tightened properly from the factory. Not sure how likely that is, or if there were any problems with running for the first few hours with low hydro fluid but everything seems to be fine now.

I also had puking fluid from my BX2350, and it ended it as a line under the fuel tank that rubbed through at 11 hours.

Regardless, the machine should not be doing that, and the dealer should be the one addressing it.
