2007 BX24
It looks like I am just about there. Going to go Kubota BX series, the only decision left is BX2350 with FEL and attachments or the BX24 and attachments. I sure like the idea of the backhoe and can see uses for it, but there is the extra cost at this point. I could add a Woods later but that would end up likely costing more in the long run, just would seem easier.

Would appreciate comments from those of you who have had to make the same decision.

I'm in the same boat as I cannot decide. If you think you are going for a hoe in the very near future I would think it would be better to go with a BX24, free money too and maybe a better setup.
Just to have the hoe for small jobs around the house would be great but is it worth the money? It's about 111.00 bucks more a month for 36 months.
You can sure do alot with a hoe, but there are alot of people out there without them.:D
If we could just keep bro-tex from posting pics of his new BX24 with his toys he sells for it would make it easier!!!! LOL:D :D :D :D

Yes, it is a tough call. I am thinking of all the things I could do with it. If I keep this tractor for 15 years like my last one (did not have BH or FEL)then the additional cost does not seem so bad. The convenience of having it available when you need it is great. My wife would have me digging more flower beds in no time. One thing is for sure is that I will get an FEL.

Go with the BX24. You will not regret it. Kubota has done a great job in conceiving and delivering a well balanced and integrated TLB package. This small package is just about as slick as it gets, and it is a best seller... as were the earlier BX23 and BX22.

Been there - same tough decision... I got the BX24 because as we were looking t them the wife said "If you don't get the BH - every time I ask you to do something I will hear about not having a BH."

We both were not at all fond of the price difference the BH adds...

At this point - we will never EVER own another tractor without having a BH... so as we sometimes talk about up-sizing (we now own 35 acres) - the BH is always included in the discussions. The irony is - we only discuss a larger tractor because the driveway is so long - the discussion revolves around clearing snow... not taking care of the property... these small tractors do everything their big brothers do - just take longer... the upside to that is - they can fit places others can't.

Best attachment ever... having been around and worked on farms for a huge slice of my life - owning a BH is the absolute most liberating attachment there is... we continue to find "things" to do with it that otherwise would not get done.

I know it sounds salesman-ish and cliche - but it will pay for itself before you know it!

Get the BX24!

so you can put a backhoe on a bx2350? it doesnt show a bh as one of the attachments on the Kubota website for the bx2350. and if you can how much cheaper is it for a bx2350 w/ FEL and BH, compared to a BX23 w/ FEL and BH.

Kubota doesn't make an add-on BH for the BX series. The only way to get an OEM BH for a BX is to go with the older BX22, BX23 or now the new BX24. All were the BX TLB packages offered by Kubota.
That said, Woods makes a universal BH w/subframe that will fit the BX1500, BX18XX and the BX2230 and BX2350.
Woods makes very good implements and back when I was tractor trading one Kubota dealer priced me out a Woods FEL & BH to undercut the other Kubota dealer I was getting pricing from. The dealer told me that Woods implements didn't void the Kubota warranty with them as they were a Woods dealer also.
I elected to go the OEM route but there are others that post here that are bery happy with their Woods implements.
