Buying Advice BX2320 USED 100hours Opinion ?

Hello

I am going to check out a trade in 2009 BX2360 with a 60" mower and a FEL .
the tractor has 100 hours and has had the 50 service it's a 2009 that has 1 year of warrenty left and the dealer is asking $12000.00 .

So things to look for ? Opinions on price ?

Assuming this tractor was just a bad fit for the previous owner? Did that particular dealer sell the tractor new? Was there a service record for any issues or repairs at that shop?

You'd save about $1200 on that package. The question will be the interest charged on it, if financed. I am going to assume around 3.5%???

Total up the finance charges and see if they would total more than a grand. (cannot predict how long a term you'd want to go.) Deduct that interest from your $1200 savings.

If the total savings is only $400, I'd go new at zero. That's just me.

If cash, then you pocket the savings and smile. BTW, push him hard for another $500 off that. Trust me, he NEEDS to move that piece.

the salesman said the guy wanted to upgrade to a b2620 . If the tractor looks good and has the service reciepts/log i am going to make a cash offer , finacing doesn't make sense right know with the 0% that is being offered on new ones .

does any one have anything inparticualr they think i should pay attention to when operating a gentlu used tractor ?
also any opinions on the cash offer ?

If it is at a dealer, I am sure they gave it a thorough going over before they took it in trade and I wouldn't take any significant "care" when operating it over anything else. It is just barely "used". My last used one had 735 hours on it and other than having it serviced before I brought it home, I am just driving it.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me and I don't know about your area, but I have never seen a "lightly" used BX on a lot, if they are traded in they go quick.

Barlows has a BX2660 FEL 60"MMM 83 hours that they will be picking up at my property next week, I did the 50 hour service on it. May be a real deal for some one.

I:'m more on the trader side. :laughing: This is the 11th Kubota from Barlows in 6 years. I'm seeking and have finally found the right combination of Kubotas for me!:thumbsup: The details are listed in the post titled Good by BX2660 and Hello F3080. By the way, as I drove through Jasper, In yesterday I drove through the parking lot of a Kubota dealer, stopped and looked around a F3680 with 72" deck. I know mine is a F3080 but only difference is 6hp and no, no one came out to determine my interests in any of their equipment.
