If it were mine, I'd run the tractor around for half an hour or so to get the axle's fluid moving and warmed up some. I'd try to tip the front axle by having the drain plug side lower than the other side so the fluid would flow to the drain. If I could get a tube from an oil syphon into the drain hole I'd also try that to get out as much of the old fluid out. Then fill it up AFTER leveling the tractor/axle and put the plug back in. I'd see how much I drained out to compare to how much I put in too. And last; I'd check it several times, over a couple of days of use, on level ground, to see that it was filled to the level it's supposed to be at.
Seems like a lot of hours for the existing fluid to be in the axle....
What's the recommended interval?
