Price Check BX2200 Loader price?

Ok now that Kubota will finance my loader I have just one more question. The dealer I'm talking with gave me a price of $2400 installed. I have been reading some of the posts and have seen prices around $1800 to $2100 for the front loader. What seems to be a ligit price for this implement on a BX2200? My firswt loader on a B7100 HST was a Woods Duall and it cost me $2600 for the quick-attach model. My 7308 for the New Holland was $3200. So where does this loader fit in at a fair price?, or is my dealer in the right range? I'm getting ready to do this in the next week or so, if anyone has a line on this question please respond.

I purchased mine last month with the fel (LA211) on it.....the fel was $1800 and i got the four position valve in case i want to add a snowblower at a later date..the 4 pos valve was $550....Hope this helps....kevin
P.S. You may want to ask your dealer to weld a hook on your bucket??? It may come in handy some day? Good luck!

Unfortunately, you probably aren't going to get a great price buying it after the fact. When you buy it with the tractor, the dealer has some economy of scale for assembly/setup. I would guess it doesn't take them much extra time to install the loader while they are preping the rest of the tractor. Also, when somebody breaks out the prices on a package deal, they can fudge the numbers however they like to make it look nice. Like charge a little more for the tractor, but give a better discount on the FEL. The list price on the LA211 is $2570, so you are getting 6.6% off the FEL, and installation is free. Or, you are getting a 10.5% discount (2,300) and $100 for installation, etc. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Overall, I'd say that's not a great price. If it were me, I'd be looking to get it down closer to $2,300, but I wouldn't expect to get it any lower than that, under the circumstances. A lot depends on your dealer, and I think that's what my dealer would do.

I don't think that's too bad of a price. If you're satisfied with the dealer, is another $100 or so really going to make much difference?

Does that price include tractor pick up and delivery by the dealer?

Also, there is a fair amount of work putting the loader together and attaching to the tractor. Easily worth several hundred dollars in my book.

I would say if you're happy with dealer, don't quibble. If you really want to find the "rock bottom price", be prepared to go to another dealer.

I bought mine after the fact as well. That is just what I paid (actually $2401!) with installation included. I only got the three way valve, and I transported the tractor to and from the dealer (mostly to make sure it wasn't there for a week!
