First I'd like to thank everyone again for all the helpful info in this forum. It really helps. Heres the break down:
2003 BX2200 (63 hrs)
60" MMM
3 pt Boom
Log Splitter (very medieval looking but totally functional)
6' rear blade
Price $8800
Got it home Sunday read the manuals, checked it over quick and proceeded to mow my lawn . First pass through did'nt overly impress me but I was'nt worried, read to many good things about the 60" MMM. My buddy who I bought it from told me he just put new blades on at the beginning of the season so I figured they were ok. I wanted to pull the deck anyway to check spindles for grease in the lower cups (recent post). Happy to say all 3 spindle were full of grease, but the blades looked like they been used in a chipper. Pulled blades sharpened and put back on. Pulling deck to me was easy as pie 5 min tops. Flipping it was'nt all that bad either, just a little ackward. Went back through deck manual to check deck set- up was OK... man is that convoluted, but setup looked good from what I could tell. I adjusted the anti-scalp wheels a little and lowered deck a 1/2" from previous cut. Well that did it, grass looks like velvet, really nice!! So anyway FEL will be going on next week along w/ ballast box and filling rears.
Overall the machine is very easy to use, controls are in the right place and ride it good. Can't think of how they could make it much more solid and that diesel is something else. Can't wait for the loader so I can see what she really has, mowing grass for this thing is just nto easy.
Well I think I've said enough...for now. No pics yet but will work on it once FEL is on.
Thanks again.
