my used bx2200 has two sets of rear lights for turning signal and flasher. I purchased new lights and my question is, do you have to remove the decking the rops mounts to, to get to the wiring i removed the spreader bar behind the seat in between the rear fenders. and there is wiring harness' there but no access to the ends. anyone ever change those lights give me a shout out as to how to get to the plug in points?
Thanks in advance for your input :D

I believe you should have a wiring connection in yours hidden in the wire loom . Follow tail lights to where it splits to other tail light and look for black electrical tape. under the tape is the wiring connector you want to add on lights.

I don't know if my BX2230 was stock or not (I don't think it was because my larger lights were Peterson's like you'd get at Fleet Farm). But I found that the tail lights and 2 sets of flashers all had bullet connectors behind the fuel tank, under the fenders. Reach up behind the tail lights and I think you'll find the 3/8 tubing comes in there and splits to the tail and flashers. As wired from the factory, my understanding is that both the rectangle and large flashers work at the same time. Some state law required the redundancy.

If you are talking about the rounds with amber lenses on both sides. that is what one set looks like. the other set is just under those and are sort of triangular in shape, then there are the red lights mounted into the rear fenders. at any rate, I think at some point my wires have got up over the top of the fuel cel so some disasembly may be required to get to these thanks for the input

Now that I think about it, I recall the dealer telling me that replacement lights from Kubota would be about $80 for each side. They are not the perfectly round ones like the Peterson's. But the Peterson's were only $10 or so each.

Ok, I figured the rear lights replacement out. going through the fender there is a protective loom cover. (ridged black plastic) very carefully pull this up and out. when you get it all out you will have to (one at a time) pull the plug ins through the fender hole. then you can access the plugs to install the new wiring to them and install the lights. the left fender is easy. the right has the fuel cel in the way so i found that cutting off the wires to each light, one at a time. and pulling it down and using a wire puller. pulled the new wires down to the bottom of the fender and plugging them in one set at a time. then it was just a matter of pulling the wires back up in place and replacing the loom covers. I did remove the red fender light to help me see that the wires were not tangled when pulling them back up.
Hope this my help someone else that may need to replace those rear flashing lights on the rops bar.
