Kubota BX1860
Can I upgrade to the larger BX 2360 tire/ wheel combo? I believe it's the same bolt pattern. Thanks, Bill

Yes, but! It's not likely your mid mount mower will clear the larger wheels if you have one. Do a search for threads started by member bpfick. His first Kubota was a BX1860 and he put the larger tires on it. Looked real nice but we figured the MMM wouldn't clear. Was 't an issue for him since he used a rear 3ph finish mower.

You can adjust the stops on the front axle to limit the turning radius but the bigger issue to consider is the gear ratios being slightly different. might not be an issue but if you do it I would be extra cautious about running in 4wd on hard surfaces.

I have the 48" MM. I think they will fit. I have turfs now, decisions. i'm also going to buy the quick attach bracket to add forks and plow blade for my 703 loader. I read bpfick threads. Nice job! 2009 has 75 hours, paid for. All I need in a tractor at this time. Bill

Who sells a quick attatch for the loader on a BX1860? I have a woods Quick attatch on the 3 pt hitch and love it, You just change all the implement pins to cat 2 and they work well. There is so little space to hook up a disc or boxblade without the quick attatch unit, and so easy to hook up with it.

I have never seen a quick tach for the BX since they add so much extra weight & they severely limit / reduce your lifting capacity. With only 400 lbs to start with every little bit makes a difference

I have seen people with the larger tires and wheels on their BX's, but why are you interested in doing so? I ask you because last October when I purchased my new BX1860 i was thinking the same thing. I was worried that the turf tires would not have enough traction for plowing my driveway and using the loader and box blade on the back lot I have to do the light excavating as I smooth and level it to plant grass. I was very wrong!!!! I did leave the box blade hang off the back for some ballast and weight over the rear wheels which are also loaded. If you haven't had and traction issues yet, just give the turf tires a chance. They will be easier on your lawn if you do much mowing with it. I've been moving a lot of dirt around recently with the loader and just started dragging some with the box blade and the turf tires work surprisingly well for me. Unless you are working in a lot of wet soil and mud you might be alright with the turfs. Actually waiting on a Tri-Axle load of topsoil to arrive right now. Good luck to you and enjoy your seat time!

I have been looking at quick attach and forks for the BX.

Jerry at myTractorTools sells a lightweight loader quick attach called tach-n-go that does not require and modification to the bucket. It also incorporates a hitch receiver.

If you really need the weight back you can remove the tach-n-go. He also has a set nice forks of 110 lb forks.

Or... You could buy the Kubota QA and forks. The fact that the forks are fixed (can't move fork width) was a deal breaker. I really liked his QA design, but the factory one is under $300. I just ordered from my dealer, entire package $1200

It should. Someone one this site had pics of it on a bx22. I've got a 2350, should be here in next 2 weeks.
