Bx1860 50 hour done... missing a grease zerk?

Well, I did the 50 hour service. Oil, filter, HST filter and cleaned HST screen. I swear it too longer to remove the front grill and remove the MMM than it did to do the rest. lol..

The cork (rubber) for the HST screen plug worked flawlessley. Maybe a cup of fluid was lost. Not much shavings on the screen either. Fluid still looked good.

Now, the every 50 hour service says to grease a zerk for the gas pedal. The manual shows a hole next to the reverse pedal (or possible just telling you where it is). I couldn't find it and I'd like to lube it up.

Any ideas? Maybe that was just for the bigger machine?

That grease fitting is there. I grease mine every 10 hours.

There is a little flap in the rubber deck mat. Lift it up, and there it is!!!

Oh, and while it is similar, it isn't really a gas pedal. It is an HST pedal, engaging forward and reverse.

Glad you found the one and only zerk on a BX. Kind of astounds me that is the only grease zerk on the whole unit, sans FEL or other attachments. My old Wheel Horse must have about 8 or 10 zerks on the basic unit.
