Orange Believers,
would like to seek your input on my bx deck questions. am renovating property in fall with turf type tall fescue.
i intend to paint the underside of my new deck with slip plate, not on tractor yet. will cut at 3.25 to 3.50 inches hieght of cut. would like to purchase a mulch kit for my rck54p-23bx and will always be cutting at a slower ground speed (dictated by number of turns and terrain).
how much is this mulch kit? stock no.? Or, would i be better off, just running a high lift "GATOR BLADES?" i am a believer in mulching.
upon reviewing the rotary mower manual, i see -my deck is for the the bx2350 and larger. previously, i was told that the 1850 would handle this deck and my dealer did not mention anything to the contrary. did i err in purchasing this deck? my novice impression of this tractor is that it has plenty of power . . . was told, that kubota doesn't rely on blade tip speed as a quality of cut factor.
thanks for your time and attention, i appreciate any input. shrekbelly
