Hello,

I am seriously considering selling my BX1500 - just turned over 103 hours. Mobil 1 synthetic oil and always stored in the barn. Used mainly for the FEL and only mowed maybe 10 acres total since new.

I bought new from Enlow Tractor East, in Tulsa, Oklahoma in early 2003

It has the LA-181 loader and the 48" MMM.

Any ideas a s to what asking price I should go with?

I am selling to step up to a B7800. We bought 3 more acres last year and hope to start building in th enext 2months. SO with all the landscaping, I think the BX1500 will be just a bit too small - mainly the loader. I would also like to try using a 5' brush hog and the 1500 is just too small for that.

Any advice is appreciated....

Thanks! Carl Bill

I would say that around 30% less than what you paid for it new. With the low financing costs today, you have to make it attractive enough that someone will want it at a savings. Remember that a new one comes with a factory warranty, and that also has a value. Personally, if I were to buy it, I would want to pay no more than 50% of what it cost new, but usually those type of deals don't happen often. It it were the BX1800 or BX2200, it would have greater resale appeal, since the 3 cylinder is a stronger engine.

I bought a BX1500 this past winter from a dealer in Wisconson. With 94 hours and a 54" deck, I paid $6200. The FEL ran me $2000. I figure you could ask around $8000 to start.

Where exactly are you located? I live in the Mounds / Sapulpa area and my brother is looking for just what your selling.

I am just outside of Owasso.

The BX1500 is a great little machine and can get into places a larger tractor just couldn't go. I really would like to keep it and get the B7800 too! But that is just not financially practical.

I bought a BX1500 from a dealer last fall with a 48"MMM and loader for a bit less than $8k. It had 170hrs on it. Thought the price was reasonable since looking on the web had the prices a bit higher. I might have been able to get it a bit cheaper elsewhere, but those small workhorses don't come around too often in my area.

I'd love to have a BX1500 but i need a front blade and a tiller instead of the FEL and mower.
Already have a FEL and 60'' mower on my BX23.

I could have bought a new one with a front blade and a rear tiller for $8500
No mower at the 85 hundred price.
Another dealer gave me a price of $6250 for a new BX 1500 with a 54'' mower.
*$8000 for used sounds high by comparison.

1* I really would like to keep it and get the B7800 too!
2*But that is just not financially practical.

1*Now that would really be the way to go. B7800 and BX1500 both.
That's about like what I'm trying to do with my BX23 and my CC 2554
and A JD 455 or BX1500.
Already Have the BX23 and the CC 2554 and am now looking for a JD 455 or a BX1500 which ever one I can find a deal on first.
Don't suppose you'd consider selling just the tractor itself would you?
2*I'd like to have the John Deere 455 and the Kubota BX1500 Both but like you certain financial restrictions apply.
