Hi Everyone,
How hard is it to replace the ignition switch on my Kubota BX1500? When I try to start it up, the key switch will snap back to the off position, if I don't hold it to the on position for a few seconds. I think I'm running on borrowed time, so I'd like to replace the switch. I also took off a relay switch for the lights a while back. I couldn't turn off the lights and of course my battery would drain, so I took some switch off and at least now I can run the tractor without the battery running dead. Anyone else have this problem?
I've never had any other problems with this tractor, it has been a great little workhorse. I bought it new in 2004 and have only changed the oil and put in fuel. Oh yeah, I have changed the fuel filters. I've also started to put tubes in the tires, as they are starting to rot, but I think I can get another year or two out of them, if I put tubes in the tires. It gets great mileage, seems like I can run the thing all day and not use any fuel.
Thank you,
Wendy
