I had a standard TSC knob (no orange ones to be had, must be a conspiracy!) on my wheel until my knee was turned into hamburger one too many times. (stupid bolt/clamp thing sticking out).
I took it off, and within about five minutes HAD to put it back on, this time I shaped it a bit more to fit the curvature of the spoke, and added longer bolts with acorn nuts to protect mine. It is now installed safely on the spoke, as close to the wheel as I could get. Works great there.
Much better! And to think I spent all that money on bandages for my knee... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
