Since it seems to me that the question of how to clean up fallen leaves with a BX comes up often, I decided to make a pictorial on how well it works with the MMM. I have a BX23 and the 60" MMM.
As long as you have a place to move the leave to, you'll be fine. I blow them into the woods that border my property.

Here is what it looked like when I started.

Fifth pass and the lawn is clear. I just need to clear around the trees.

The trees are clear. Now I need to finish moving them across the street.

The trees lost the rest of there leaves a week later. When there are alot of leaves on the ground, it works just as well. You just have to go a little slower.

Nice job! But by the looks of your trees, you'll be doing it again!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Look'n good! Nice place. The colors (and leaves) are just about played out down my way.

I used to do it just about the same way but I'd blow 'em into several windrows then I'd go back & pick 'em up with a pull behind sweeper. Last yr I changed over to a bagger and have had better compost as a result. This yr I changed over to a cyclone rake and can collect much more before having to dump.
My changing is done cause I ain't got no mo $$$'s /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There are some photos when I bought new here.
No new photos, though. I've added a toothbar and lights to the ROPS since then.

A day later, it looked like I did nothing and by the end of the week, we had a storm and all the leaves fell off.
