I was wondering if anyone had experience with mixing turf and ag tires on the BX. When moving snow with the FEL last year the front tires would get stuck if I was off the driveway. I think the extra weight on the front made it difficult to get through snow more than 6 inches deep. Without the FEL loaded I could go through much deeper snow. I thought the ags on the front would help when I push snow off the edge of the driveway and the front tires go into deeper snow. However, keeping the turfs on the back would help when the driveway becomes icy. Is there a problem with mixing tires?

I was just at the dealer today and asked him about that very set-up-- I am about to order my BX and can't decide what tire to get. He told me that you can't mix turf and ag tires according to Kubota. He recommended an extra set or tires from Kobota. $280 for a set front and rear: $50 for the rears and $40 for the fronts.

On my bx I have turf's on the front and ag's on the rear. (came with turf's all the way around) Picked up the rear ag's for $75 ea. and had a local tire shop mount them for $8 ea.
Anyway I have had them on there for some time now and have had no problems at all. They are the same size and diameter as the turf's.
