Help! A hydraulic newbie here... and I do have a build thread going on the subject of adding rear remotes, but thought I should also post over here in case there are some hydraulic experts that might not otherwise chime in.

The routing of the hoses from the remotes to the cylinders is a no brainer but not completely sure if I have the other 3 hose connections right. For you hydraulic knowledgeable folk, please look to see if I have it correct. A-A, B-B, C-C.

I understand from talking to Brian at Fit-Right, that it is possible to plumb such that the valves are always connected to the hydraulic circuit whether the backhoe is on, or other implement that uses the remotes. Not sure if what I have shown achieves that. Look forward to comments!

Ok just so I am up to speed, I assume when your backhoe is not attached you hook the two lines going to the backhoe together?

If that is correct, take the hose that goes to the in port of the backhoe valve and move it to your remote valve pressure in port. Then the Power Beyond from your remote valve becomes your new power in line to your backhoe valve. So when the backhoe is not installed you would still hook this new hose to the existing return hose from the backhoe.

The return to tank port should route back and tee in with your tank line from your loader valve.

If that is the way you routed everything you should be good to go. I hope I explained that well enough.

Very clean installation by the way!

When my BH is off, I simply take the supply line, "A" and plug it into the "C" port as shown in the first photo. I'm still not sure I got this right. :confused3:

Do you know if Line A is power in for the backhoe or is C the power in?

You have 2 lines for the backhoe correct ? 1 presser line that feeds the hoe 1 return line back to the tractor So if you take the pressure line to the in on the new valve body , then the return off the valve body back to the return on the tractor, When the backhoes off the oil just returns back to the tractor when you plug the hose in...

I believe Line A is the power in. The manual calls it the Inlet hose (backhoe).

No, I have three lines for the BH. This is what is causing my confusion.

For the BH, A = Inlet hose, B = Outlet hose, and C = Power Beyond hose.

I think I have it right but I want to be able to just disconnect my D, E, F, and G hoses at my remotes to switch back to my BH if possible.

I think as I have it plumbed now, I will have to make all 7 disconnections at the remotes, to go back to the BH and then 3 more tp hook up the BH. I'm thinking I should be able just disconnect 4 at the remotes going to the cylinders on the 3pt hitch and make just a few connections somehow to tie to the BH from the remotes and tractor.

Okay, I am following you now.

A from first picture goes to A on your valve picture.

Then a line from C on your valve picture to where A line was going on your backhoe. Then C, PB from your backhoe goes to C on your first picture. When backhoe is disconnected, then C from valve picture would go to C in your first picture.

B from your valve needs to go to B in the first picture. This line needs to be a Tee with a quick disconnect. The remote valve B line can be permanently attached and the backhoe B line can go to the quick connect.

That should get you going. Good luck.

Okay!!! I think I got it. I will sketch this out in both configurations to confirm. Then I can get on with hose lengths and fitting requirements!

If I get the picture, I am reducing the disconnects when switching, from 10 to 6.

Schematic coming.
