BX Pallet Forks

I was looking at Frankenkubota PF thread and thought I壇 show my BX forks. I made these 7-8 yrs ago and they have proven to be excellent. Easy on/off and capable. The BX doesn稚 have an enormous lift power but I have been surprised at what I have been able to do with these. Mine are 3 heavy channel and 2? I think it is .019 sq tube, a 1x4 pipe nipple a couple pieces of angle iron and a nut, bolt and washers. Hook the nipple over the bucket lip and lower them on. The key to happiness is to make sure the bolt is positioned so the fork Sits on the bucket & doesn稚 float above the bucket. One of mine is a bit floppy and I know what the fix is, but one of these days. I have net needed a gusset plate in the tube/channel joint. The welds have excellent penetration.

I've got the Titan attachments clamp on bucket forks for my BX2200. They work great.

Although, any type of bucket-fork attachment you need to exercise caution on not to bend/tweak the bucket and loader frame. This includes SS quick attach forks and bale spears.

Tractors really aren't fork lifts. But for "light" work with operator caution, it's fine.

i use it to move material around. I don't push my equipment but with only a bit of common sense they work great. The BX bucket is quite limited in size. Mount the forks throw a piece of plywood over them and you have a lot of capacity in hauling leaves, branches and the stuff that would otherwise be hard to move or get into a truck.
