Okay I am considering a QA for my BX25D FEL. I am looking at forks to go along with the bucket outfitted with a Piranha tooth bar, but what other attachments should I look at? I don't get enough snow to warrant a snowblower but dang if money wasn't an issue it would be on the list. So... other than forks, what else can help me want to invest in the QA? My property is 1.5acres sloping, glacial till, trees, cleared areas and I have a long gravel driveway to maintain. Lots of brush to manage, and putting in gardens, terracing, and very small orchard. Already have a landscape rake and back blade. Maybe biggest question is will the QA significantly reduce my bucket weight capability?

BX grapple #SGC0548:

SGC05 Series Claw Grapples | Land Pride

The SGC05 Series Grapple weighs in at 156 lbs, only 24 lbs more than the standard BX bucket. With a stated lifting capacity of up to 518 lbs, a BX25D and SGC05 together can lift up to 360 lbs more than enough to make quick work of the largest jobs.

Aha! Beautiful... need to price that for sure. But dang, my birthday is not until October. Sure hope the taxman decides to give me a bunch of my money back!

It will reduce it a little more than the added weight of the QA due to the attachments setting further forward.

Understand... and since I am dealing with a little BX, and moving a more than my fair share of rock, gravel, and cement blocks around my property, this is definitely a concern.

When I bought my BX I ordered it with the QA. It was a great move. I plan on building a few attachments for the set up. I have the forks for the 5740 plus the Toyota forklift but still needed forks for the BX because where I had to go the 5740 was to large and the forklift couldn't go because it would get stuck so I ended up getting forks from Kubota for the BX.
They cost as much for the BX as I paid for the 5740 but very handy to have. Glad I bought them now. I store them in the BX's shed so I made a trolley on castors to place the forks on to move them around easily.

I was going to build a grapple for the BX but built one for the 5740 instead but I still might build one for the BX anyways.
