BX or B

Having bought a 140 acre farm with 45 acres in woods, I recently acquired a Kubota M6800 HD.My next interest, equipment-wise, is a smaller tractor that would complement the 6800 and could be used for finish mowing of lawn areas (about 2-4 acres) around the farmhouse. The ground slopes on most of this lawn area. I would prefer a MMM.I also want to be able to use this smaller tractor to cultivate between rows in a three-acre plot. (The rows would be too closely spaced for the 6800.)So the small tractor would have to have a three-point hitch, Cat I for that and other purposes that I can't currently foresee.Those two uses bring up the question of what tires to order.Then there's always the possibility that I would want a loader on this small tractor, even though I have a huge loader on the 6800. I don't know if I'll be tempted to take it into the woods.Many of you must have gone through the same exercise, and I'd be grateful for your experiences and how you've liked the choices you made.

The main difference I can see is the ground clearance of the b over the bx for cultivating. Just a thought.

B2410 and up I believe your going to find the frame & fel somewhat stronger for woods work plus,but the BX should be better for mowing in tight areas and easier for the Mrs. to handle.

The dealer I bought from explanied to me that the B7500 and the B2410 shared the same frame. So I would probably add the B7500 to the list of choices too.

Guess it really depends on how fine a job of cutting grass u want to do? the bx. will be a better mower(from what i hear) but if u are thinking of cultivating or using it in the woods, the ground clearence of the b model may be the way to go. YOU KNOW BEST YOUR NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS.
