BX front tire - hot patch or tube?

What is the best fix for a turf tire on the front that took about a 3/8" diameter pine limb. I don't like to use plugs plus I dont think one would hold on this hole.

Hot patch , tube or something else? I called a couple of tire places here and they did not recommend a hot patch.

Take it to a tire shop and have them patch it. If they feel that the tire is too damaged, then tube it. If that isn't an option because of it being too large of a tear, then foam it. Junk....

if you take it to a tire shop they should be able to patch it...i believe i've gotten a hole that size patched on my truck...it may have been smaller. Just fallow junkmans advice if that doesn't work

I don't like filling the wheel on one side making it heaver than the one on the other side.

My first choice would be repair it
2nd choice replace it.
3rd choice fill both front wheels .
