I like the idea of being able to remove the weights if needed but could you guys let me know the Pros and Cons of each and where I could get the Wheel Weighs. Also what would be the best all around to load tires.

Thanks

I'm a fan of fluid filled tires. Your tractor will only hold about 70lbs of fluid per tire (depending on what you use) so you may want to consider cast iron weights also.
The cast iron weights will be pricey from Kubota, but there may be aftermarket stuff available.
As far as pros / cons to fluid, the only con that comes to mind is a punctured tire will be a bigger problem.

Us hilly Billies have to have ballast in the tires. Cheapest solution for traction improvement. B26 has both rear wheel spacers and ballast for both stability and traction. Local dealer added methanol mixture for $20. Made a noticeable difference of the good kind.

See some adding windshield washer fluid (methanol) DIY. Can still plug a leak in a tubeless tire.

All for wheel weights on bigger tractors. Not something you want take off and on frequently.

I have both rim guard filled tires and wheel weights. The rim guard gums up the valve stem and makes a mess when you check pressure. It's a great place to add weight. It's a tractor, almost no such thing as too much weight.
I also have cast iron wheel weights. I bought them from the dealer. They cost as much as the ones on line, but the ones on line came with more weights. More than I would use. What would I have done with the extras?
The last ones I bought after market didn't fit properly (for my last tractor). I got them on, but it wasn't right.

I have been looking for OEM weights but I am not finding them, I have not called a dealer yet. I would like to get an idea of cost.

Fluid filled tires get the weight closer to the ground which many say improves traction and can lessen a tipping hazard by lowering the center of gravity. Nothing wrong with using both if needed.

FWIW, My dealer won't sell a tractor without filled tires unless a buyer specifically nixes it.

Instead of wheel weights, you might consider a ballast box or a heavy 3pt implement to add weight. That way, you can easily remove the weight for applications that don't require it. In many cases, there is less turf damage when mowing with a lighter tractor.

I don't use this tractor for mowing, I do use it around the yard though as it typically causes less damage. I may just call around and see who fills tires, I would like to do it myself.

On larger tractors, they sometimes use a special air / water valve for filled tires. There are adapter kits available. Not sure about the BX though.

Here's a video for the L series:

I went a different way by having my rear tires foamed filled for the stability of lower center of gravity and no more flat tires…

I am with ultrarunner. There are numerous Black Locust and Bradford Pear thorns on our place and foam filling made life much simpler - no more flat tire delays!

So how do you foam fill? What is the weight difference?

I took my wheels to AG tire shop where a vent holes was drilled into each tire and then hot medium density foam pumped in until coming out the vent.

Tires had to remain on side until cured to avoid flat spots… I picked up the next day.

My BX tires each gained about 50-60 pounds from memory but don’t hold me to that.

Easy to carry before foam and I could not lift after foam.

Here is a good description…

Not cheap but no regrets on my part spending the money.

I have to disagree with ultrarunner on the weight. I did not weight my tires before and after foam filling, but I was able to lift my BX25 rear tires in and out of the pick-up bed before having them foam filled. After being foam filled thinking I would do the same was a wasted thought. It may be the company I used added something into the tire along with the foam to increase the tire weight, I don't know and never thought to ask, but my rear tires are way over 200 lbs each now that they are foam filled. I base this estimate on comparing the weight of the tires to my 100 lb IH tractor weights.

There are different densities of foam used for tires.

Not sure on weight variations.

I have 90gals of antifreeze mix in each R4 rear tires.

35gals in each front

350lb weights in each rear wheel.

260lbs weight block up front.

I have all 3 farm tractors equipped this way & absolutely love it (y)

I even fluid filled my Kubota ZD1511 & ZD1611 Zero rear tires & added 140lbs up front to mow my steep banks & hills.

The traction is superb
Ride is way better
WIN WIN in my book.
