Kubota BX25
Working on my bucket list of winter projects and scouring up pieces/parts. QUESTION: Are BX25 quick connect fittings standard US pattern or are they unique to Kubota as the dealer claims? They naturally want to sell them at their branded inflated price. Maybe I am stuck with the situation but doesn't hurt to get a second opinion before I pull one and go the the hydro store.

Picking quick connects can be tricky, and when it came time to change mine, I just chose any high quality brand that would fit the hoses. My hoses were 1/4 NPT fittings. Mine are only going to connect to my own FEL, so it's all "in the family."

I did pick a set from a hydraulic house initially that were defective. The spring tension on the male was not equal to that of the female, and when I connected them, one poppet would remain closed, while the other would open further than usual. This caused the seal in the poppet to extrude. It was pretty frustrating.

I immediately bought name brand quick connects, and I have had no issues since.

Yours is newer than mine, but I suspect your connections are still 1/4 npt, but folks who know more will chime in.

According to my notes, I bought these
Surplus Center - 1/4" QUICK COUPLER S10-2

I was right serious about it...I downloaded cad drawings and made cad drawings of my existing couplers that came with the tractor. I made drawings of the Buyers cheep ones, and tried them too, but they didn't last a year..the o-rings actually broke. I tried replacing o-rings in various ones, etc. I have a folder on my laptop full of this stuff, that's how confused I was when I started out.

My original couplings were made by Snaptite. I like the Safeway better.

I don't know the answer to your specific question but what I do know is that there are literally hundreds of quick connect couplers out there. I recently needed a new set of quick connects for a newly acquired grapple and went to a large dealer in the area and they said I have hundreds, I need a number or I would never be able to find the right fit in my inventory. We got a number and found the right one. Guessing wouldn't have worked.

Find the type, size, brand you want and start using that size even if you have to switch out a set on one of your existing implements.

Ron!

Your having a senior moment me thinks! :D
You were part of the BX25 Goodies thread, rememba' ?
I made the home made pressure tester w/ McMaster parts, remember?
It is made w/ female and male QD ends that fit the BX25...

In the BX25 Goodies thread I have links to said at McMaster.

This site suggests the equivalent of the ISO-B,

ISO 7241 B Quick Couplers | Parker 60 Series, ISO B Quick Disconnects

So apparently the ones I posted are equivalent since they exchange half for half with the Pioneer 60. Thanks for reminding me that I chose to match you guys instead of the BX2200 style.

I do suggest getting a high quality name brand, and no knockoffs. Many of the cheaper one seem to be using inferior rubber, and leaky couplings is a hassle BX owners don't need due to the high cost of our fluids.

Artisan, do you know what brand they are? When I looked them up in M-C, there didn't seem to be a brand listed at all.
