After experiencing (suffering) through many one front tire goes flat BX's and some other flats, I have finally came to a conclusion of how to deal with this problem.
I've, tubed the BX's and almost Slimed them a few times, but Sliming seems to be a temporary fix to me so never actually went through with it.
Got a flat on my F2680 several weeks ago. Fixed it with a plug from the $12.99 tire plug kit from Advance Auto. Still holding air.
OK, I now believe the issue is finding the leak. I found the leak in the tread on the F2680 with a spray bottle of soapy water, dishwashing liquid mixed with water.
If it's a bead leak, then try bead sealer, if that doesn't work, tube it.
If it a hole in tread, plug it. If that doesn't work, tube it.
If it's the valve stem, replace it. (Valve stem, not tire)
If it's more than one leak in side walls, tube it. I'd plug one leak in a sidewall, what have you got to lose, it's not like your doing 60mph down the highway.
If I planned on selling or trading the tractor off within the year I'd consider Sliming it.
Find the leak then decide how to fix it.
