Hi All,
I am adding to a thread I started in Feb. 2012 about my tractor burning up the transmission. I am pleased to report that my local dealer has done the right thing and repaired my tractor. Turns out that a washer, which is actually a bearing race, had split down the middle and had gotten in the piston ports destroying them. My dealer said that there was no indication of oil being low as there was no scoring or burning. Ordinarily I would not mention the dealers name, but under the circumstances I think it prudent. "Carolina Outdoor Power Equipment" in Cayce, SC has proven to me that they truly care about their customers and I am happy to have them as my Kubota dealer. I would suggest that if anyone needs a dealer they should check these guys out even if they are not in central South Carolina. I can assure everyone that if I should need any additional products or services then this is where I will go. No more box stores. I appreciate everyone's response to my original thread. Oh yea, I received my tractor the first of last week and have put about 10 hours on it with nothing but good results. I hope this helps others choose a dealer. (I would say go orange, but I am a Carolina Gamecock and that would be considered sacrilage)
