OK.. I did it. Delivery early next week (at least that's the promise). Now, a question about break in.
I have a huge pile of sticks, limbs and assorted blowdowns from winter that I need to chip/shred with the Bearcat. I had been planning to use the 3130 but that involves taking off the BH and all.. and .. well.. here's this brand new BX and the Bearcat manual says it needs "engine HP" of 13!
My question.. what are the break-in do's and don'ts. I seem to remember with the L3130 it didn't want you running at high RPMs for the first 50 hours.
I'm wondering if It's OK to run a PTO chipper at 540 RPM (steady speed) for two .. probably three hours (yeah, I have that much to chip) when it's new out-of-the-box!
thanks for any advice you BX people (hey, I'm IN THE CLUB finally).
