I use my BX tractor a bunch and even at that find it difficult to run up more than 100 hours per year, actually I am in my second season and just went past 200. Lets see--10,000 hours divided by 100 is 100 years and even at 200 hours per year that would be 50 years. Nope, I would expect reaonably that a well cared for BX should be capable of 3,000 to maybe 5,000 hours but I could be wrong but even at 100 hours per year into 2000 hours life that is 20 years. To me, 20 years is a long time and I think someone is joshing you or they are perhaps full of something. Get the BX, loader, front snow blower and maybe ballast or weights for your rear wheels and the 60 inch deck for mowing. My wife, also a small woman, can in fact remove and install my (our) BX loader. J
