BX-1860, L3940HSTC, B7500, Farmall M, Farmall 560D
The price seems close, but when I bought my 1500 I looked at the 48" & 54" and I advise you to do the same. The 54" is a LOT more mower for the little more upfront cost. It also rolls out on it's own wheels.
Curious myself. There is one now on e-bay. Loader and 48" mower. Claims to have only 12 hrs on it. Already up to $8500 with almost 3 days to go. Your price doesn't sound so bad especially if Kubota's 0% financing applies.
I got the same numbers. I also got the following:
1500- $6900.00
54" MMM - $1390.00
Blade - $440.00
If you plan on 2 G's for the loader, you are at $10, 730.
For another $2000 you can upgrade to the BX 2200.
If I were you I would take a close look at the bx2200 and price it before making a final decision.
I saw the bx1500 and there was no way I could buy one. I am not sure why...maybe because I already had a B2910? So I ended up getting a BX2200 last week...
You want to do it right the first time...expensive to correct the mistake if you don't. Now the 1500 may be right for you, that you have to decide.
Each time you move up a rung on the tractor size ladder, you end up getting more tractor for each dollar spent...
Good luck in your decision...or maybe better said...enjoy the decision making process! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Happy to say I took delivery of my BX1500 this afternoon. I've already put 2.8 hours on it before 5:30 PM. Wasn't sure if this was the one, i.e. 1800 vs 2200. My immediate supervisor drove the 1500 and since she will do the mowing and I the other work...SOLD! Kubota's 0% made it easier. I shopped two different dealers and found friendliness, professionalism and felt I got a fair deal at a store over 80 miles away. The price for a FEL, BB, FM, R-4 tires, tax, insurance, delivery and the first service for $10957. I moved a 4 cubic yard mulch pile that had been sitting for two year today...WOW!
Your deal sounds comparable to mine if this helps.
