Well I made up my mind to get myself an L3400 - I'm no professional landscaper or anything. I just need it to mow the eleven acres I have in NE PA and to keep my 900' of driveway clear, so the 3400 suits me fine. So I went over to my Kubota dealer this morning (if you're reading this Boss - cough, cough - I really AM sick) and drove an HST. Nice, nice tractor, and the hydrostat is a great invention. Now with a Kubota FEL, HST, and a Woods 5' rough-cut mower he wants me to pay him $16,995 plus tax. Any of you folks out there think this dealer is twisting my agates, or does it look like a pretty good deal? This is in southern New Jersey, which is farm country, the dealer is reputable with a good service department, and I understand perfectly that he needs to put food on HIS plate too. Your expert opinions would be greatly appreciated.
